Maree meets Linda Burney MP

Here at Sunnyhaven, we grow and nurture the capabilities of each of our individual clients. No two individuals are alike but we believe that it is this uniqueness that powers the community. Maree met with Linda Burney MP, Federal Member for Barton on the 6th of March. They discussed the upcoming NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) changes and the impact they will have on Sunnyhaven and our clients. Despite this, we are looking forward to Linda’s cooperation in the project as she was very interested to hear about Sunnyhaven’s 10-bed unit complex that is being built in Turella and we hope for further discussions with her in regards to seeking funding for this project.
