Implementing Person Centred Plans
Providing appropriate training and support to individual residents.
Assisting and supporting residents to develop community living skills
Supporting residents to access community-based, generic services
Encouraging and supporting residents to develop personal care, health care and hygiene, e.g. eating, dressing, toileting and bathing
Conducting all communication in a professional manner
Maintaining all necessary records and providing reports as required
Carrying out all necessary domestic and household duties
Providing innovative programs that deliver the aspirations of clients
We require you to have:
Certificate III in Disability Work or 2 years of full-time experience working in a Group Home or Day Program Setting
Current full NSW driver’s license
Current First Aid certificate
Well developed written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills and be able to use Microsoft office
